Charmander's Flamethrower

If possible, please give a critique on my drawings (through cooments). I have to make sure that I'm able to draw well as an illustrator, and not unawaringly making stickmen instead.

No new Submissions!? Pikadon92's Mysterious disap-

-pearance!

Now that I have school, I am not able to submit as many art as I can.

However AND fortunately, I am studying under Games Design and Development course. There, I am learning how to design concepts, characters and storyline for digital as well as board games.

My lecturer said that the harshest critique for an art is the artist himself, so I am going to be honest to you.

I am not very satisfied with most of my own drawings shown in my gallery. Yes, this includes most of the Gym Leaders. They don't really have the 'life' I wanted to give them, or something like that.
Or in other word, I could actually improve them. A lot.

But yay. For the past few weeks, I got to learn the art of drawing the characters. I do not have to instantly draw a pose for them.
Firstly, there is a character sheet where you draw the front, side and back view of each character. This is where you can focus on designing the character you want. I want apply that to my characters first.
And before the firstly (which is 'zero-ly'?), ALL your sketches have to be, ultimately, in blue/cyan in colour. That colour would be the easiest to be erased off after you blacken the line(s). Oh yeah, and for the best detail, draw in A3 paper. If I knew that sooner I would've asked my parents to buy me a printer for A3 prints.
And secondly, there is inking. Either pen or ink from a bottle will work. I would want try them all and see which suits me best.
And finally, Arcrylic white paints works like an erasor! Though photoshop works similarly......

Oh well, back to my assignments. I'm so behind time!
